When to use it.

Investor Update is a 16-slide quarterly update a founder sends to the people who backed them. It opens on the quarter's headline and the four metrics that moved, then takes the money apart — revenue, burn, runway and cash, with twelve months of recurring revenue as a chart. The back half is the honest part: what shipped, who bought, what worked, what didn't, the team, the plan, the risks and three specific asks. It closes on the date of the next update.

Make it yours in four steps.

Open it in Decks and work through it, or let Docsiv AI do the first pass with your details.

  1. Step 1

Replace the company, the author and the quarter on the cover and the closing slide.

  2. Step 2

Put your own figures into the four-metric band, the money slide and the revenue chart — the deck is built so the same numbers repeat across slides.

  3. Step 3

Swap the shipped releases, customers and team portraits for yours, and delete any slide you have nothing to say on.

  4. Step 4

Write the three asks last, make each one a single action, and send it on the date you promised.
