When to use it.

Design Portfolio is a 16-slide deck for an independent designer to send a prospective client before the first call. It opens quietly with your name, introduces what you do and who you do it for, then shows four projects over two slides each — the brief they came with, and the work that went out of the door. The second half is the practical part: how you work, your day rate and typical project ranges, three client quotes, your client list, and when you are next free. Every project's work is shown as drawn mockups and photography, so it reads as a gallery rather than a pitch.

Made for

  • Design and creative studios
  • Freelance designers and illustrators
  • Architects and makers
  • Agencies pitching for new work

Make it yours in four steps.

Open it in Decks and work through it, or let Docsiv AI do the first pass with your details.

  1. Step 1

Open the template in Decks and replace the cover name, location and the dates on the running head.

  2. Step 2

Rewrite the introduction and the Selected work index with your own four projects, their scope and year.

  3. Step 3

For each project, swap the brief, the three things the client needed, and the figures in the strip along the foot; replace the drawn mockups and photographs with your own work.

  4. Step 4

Set your day rate, project minimum and ranges on the rates slide, update the booked weeks and the contact details, then export or share the link.
