Import existing files into Documents

Bring existing work into Docsiv when you want to keep a client’s history beside new deliverables.

Import files

1. Open Documents from the dashboard.
2. Select Import.
3. Choose the files you want to bring into Docsiv.
4. Match the files to the correct client and review the import details.
5. Confirm the import and open a document to check its formatting.

Docsiv supports common office and document formats through the import flow. Imported files can be organized, edited when their format supports it, shared, or used as context for future work.

If you do not see Import, check that you have the required workspace permission or ask a workspace admin to run the import.
