When to use it.

Empathy Map is a whiteboard for turning one customer interview into something the whole team can see. The customer sits in the middle, and four coloured quadrants hold what they say, think, do and feel, with their exact words in quotes and their unspoken doubts beside them. Pains and gains run along the bottom, and the insight you take away gets its own note, circled. The example maps a café regular weighing up a home coffee subscription, so every box shows the kind of note worth writing.
